This is the October update of my terrace garden…the seeds sown and saplings planted in September have been growing well. I have also included tips for growing tomatoes and also shown how I propagate seeds of Laal Saag (Red Amaranthus). Hope you enjoy the video.

Roaring WATERFALLS W/ Adjustable Flow and Sound

Here we grow again!!! There is always a project going on here at Gardening with Creekside and coming this late Fall we will be tackling a rather large project (but an important one for a plant nursery). We are building a new greenhouse! This new 30′ x 72′ heated space will allow us to greatly increase our horticulture production for next season. Come take a little tour of the space with me and see what a deconstructed greenhouse looks like!

Garlic is such a great starter plant when you want to start your journey to growing your own food and cutting down on trips to the grocery store. It gives you a high return on a small investment. You spend the money on garlic seed (cloves) once and you can save some for each harvest and replant each year. Just remember to always save the largest cloves as they will produce the biggest bulbs. So planting fall garlic is something I do every year! I especially love that it is harvested in the summer which means it frees up space to plant a fall garden.
