Vertical farming, indoor farming, and hydroponic farming all rolled into one! Welcome to the tour of The Greenery by my friends Jon and Brad of Freight Farms. I got a SNEAK PEEK of their newest shipping container farm, designed to produce 2-4 TONS of food per year.

This particular unit will be growing calendulas hydroponically, and in today’s video we walk you through every component of the unit and their vertical farming technology. Thanks to Freight Farms for having me out!

Composting is a great project to do because it uses food and yard scraps that would otherwise be thrown away to make a nutrient-rich soil amendment.Making compost correctly will allow you to feed your plants essential nutrients and make your soil more fertile, all while using items that would otherwise go into your trash.

Gardeners can accumulate A LOT of seeds. So many so, that they’re often stuffed into drawers, boxes, jars, and other places. It’s all too easy to lose track of them.

Keeping seeds and seed packets organized makes sure that you’re able to find them easily and ensures that seeds actually get used. Some seeds are viable for years but others can expire in as little as 1-2 years.

These are my two ways to organize seeds — one that I’ve used for years and the other new this year. Both are inexpensive and help make sure that you get your seeds in the soil. I also cover where seeds should be stored and when to refrigerate them.

Ceropegia woodii propagation is surprisingly easy (and fast). In this video I’ll show you how to take stem-tip cuttings and water propagate them, then pot them up for success.

String of hearts propagation is fantastic due to how prolifically these plants grow when in good conditions. Instead of simply pruning them, you should propagate and use the rooted cuttings to start new pots, or fill in your existing pot for a more lush, bushy look to your trailing rosary vine!

How to grow rose plant at home| HOW TO GROW ROSE FROM CUTTINGS
#rose #rosecutting #cuttingpropagation #urbangardening #rosepropagation
most roses are simple to grow and easy to propagate at home. “Propagate” simply means to reproduce a plant easily from a simple cutting. Unlike seeds, which produce very different plants, rooted cuttings produce replicas of their parent.
You can improve your success at any growth stage by treating cuttings with rooting hormone to stimulate root development and encourage growth.

PLANTING TIME : FALL OR IN EARLY WINTER MONTHS (OCT TO DEC)
OR WHENEVER TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 8 TO 20 DEGREE CELSIUS (46-69 F)
